It's Small Boats Season

Hi {{first_name|JRN Community}},

October is here, and with it comes a flurry of small boats activity across the globe - alongside the re-awakening of the US rowing juggernaut.

Our teams in the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, and Australia have all been in action this week, preparing comprehensive preview dossiers ahead of the weekend’s racing.

Here in London, the 2027 Boat Race clock officially started as the Presidents of the two blue camps offered and accepted the traditional challenge.

As you can tell, we’re already deep into busy season - so we’ll stop writing here, and let our previews do the talking.

Happy reading,

“There are few people in this sport as decorated as Australian native Drew Ginn, but as we walked laps of Oxford’s Roger Bannister running track on a Tuesday afternoon, discussing Ginn’s outlook on his career and the sport as a whole, it very quickly became evident to me that he exemplifies the resilient, humble sportsman.”

“St Paul’s School Boat Club is one of the most accomplished junior rowing clubs in the world. The club is recognised for its unwavering determination and resilience to perform when it really matters. Under the guidance of Bobby Thatcher and a dedicated team of supporting coaches—many with experience in junior and international rowing—these young athletes achieve numerous victories even before they graduate to greatness at the senior and Olympic levels.”
