This week at JRN

Notes from the Editor

Hi {{first_name|JRN Community}},

It's a big one this week: championship rowing all winding up, all at once.

We've barely had time to dry off from Dorney Lake (the ink on our National Schools' coverage still fresh), and here we are at Lake Lanier in Georgia for the NCAA Women's Rowing Championships, May 29–31. We wouldn't have it any other way. Yale arrive chasing back-to-back Varsity titles against a field that has plenty to say about that.

Elsewhere, the 123rd IRA National Championship returns to Lake Natoma in California after six years away; the Metropolitan Regatta takes to Dorney Lake (yes, Dorney again - we just can't quit it); and World Rowing Cup I opens in Seville for the first elite international regatta of the year, with a men's singles showdown between Olympic champion Oliver Zeidler and World Champion Stefanos Ntouskos leading the bill.

Read on - there's a lot to get through.
