Welcome back. The three weeks since our last newsletter have been the busiest of the rowing year, and JRN has been right in the thick of it. We were on the ground at Henley Royal Regatta throughout race week, producing daily written coverage across all Junior, Student and Club Trophies, a nightly podcast filmed live from the Regatta, as well as The Progress Board, our lunchtime show co-produced with Henley Royal Regatta and broadcast daily on HRR's official YouTube channel. It was a record entry year for the Regatta, and we gave it the coverage it deserved.

Now, the summer's second half is upon us, and the diary is packed. The British Rowing Club Championships at Nottingham's Holme Pierrepont get underway this Friday, and the international circuit moves quickly from there: the U23 World Rowing Championships in Duisburg (23–26 July), then the build to Amsterdam, where the World Rowing Championships take place at the Bosbaan from 24–30 August. JRN will be covering it all.

Holme Pierrepont hosts the national club calendar's main event this weekend, 17–20 July. JRN will be across all the action as the country's top club crews converge on Nottingham to settle the season's biggest domestic questions.
